Best one-stop natural beauty shops!

The last few years have been super exciting in the world of natural beauty. Not only are major retailers like Amazon, Sephora, and Target carrying many organic beauty products side by side with beauty industry mainstays, but the last few years have also brought on a whole new crop of online natural beauty retailers only carrying products that meet a strict set of guidelines regarding ingredients and quality.  Whereas I used to have to scrupulously read every single ingredient in reportedly natural products at major retailers, now I can pretty much completely trust that if a product is stocked in one of these online one-stop natural beauty shops, they meet my high standards of safety.

I’ve been using several products from each of these awesome online shops for the better part of a year now, and love the brands they carry, their great mission statements, and their commitment to quality, safe, organic beauty.

Here are my three favorite one-stop natural beauty shops!

Renew Bath & Body

Natural-beauty-one-stop-shops

This lovely online shop carries 20 brands, all of which are all-stars in the natural beauty world.  From longtime favorites like 100% Pure, Suki, and Whish to rising organic beauty brands like One Love Organics and Sumbody.  They only carry products that are sulfate, paraben, and animal by-product free, and are committed to healthy, effective skincare and home products marry nature with science.  I’ve been obsessed with the 100% Pure Coffee Cherry Sun Damage Corrective Cream (currently out of stock in the shop, but it’ll be back soon!), which I’ve been using on my face and back of my hands to counteract the sun damage I started getting since moving to Los Angeles.  I love the whipped texture, the yummy smell, and of course, the good-enough-to-eat ingredients that are characteristic of 100% Pure (stay tuned for my full review of more of their products!).  I also love love love the Sumbody Milky Rich Salt Scrub, with sea salt, pistachio and sunflower oils, and goat’s milk, which has been amazing to use on rough patches on my arms.  Sumbody also has a line of baby products that are infused with essential oils, with adorable names like Go to Bed Sleepyhead and Baby Dew Laugh, designed to uplift, soothe, or calm your little one.  I can’t wait to try them!

They also carry some awesome men’s products like Beardology beard oils, washes, and balms, and New York Shaving Co. products, as well as beer-infused soaps from The Beer Soap Company.  In addition to skincare, Renew Bath & Body also has a few other favorite products of ours, like wine-infused handmade soy candles from Rewined, and cult favorite stainless steel water bottles from S’Well.

Renew Bath & Body also has a brick and mortar shop in Buffalo, NY.

The Organic Project

The Organic Project is an Australian-based company that specializes in newer, small-batch companies, mostly out of Australia.  I’m so excited that they’ve brought their awesome natural beauty lines to the US! It’s been so fun trying out these amazing products that we don’t find here in the states. They carry 15 boutique natural beauty brands, many of which are certified organic, that span skincare and body care, makeup, and even natural fragrances.  I’ve love the Erica Brooke Deodorant Creme (we’ve been using the Him & Her unisex variety), that keeps me dry with coconut oil and baking soda, and yummy smelling essences of lemon, niaouli, peppermint and lavender.  I’ve been using the DnA Elements Herbal Bath Oil every time I shower, and have had the softest, smoothest, loveliest smelling skin.  And I’m happy to report that my quest for a non-clumpy, lengthening natural mascara has finally ended with Ere Perez Natural Almond Oil Mascara, which is luscious, shiny black lashes that don’t smudge, and are totally safe for my sensitive, contact lensed eyes.

They have so many other brands I’m dying to try, like the 100% natural fragrance sprays for men and women by Vanessa Megan (she even makes one for pregnant mamas that won’t aggravate sensitive noses and actually relieves morning sickness!), and Adorn Mineral & Organic Lipsticks, which look absolutely heavenly.

Spirit Beauty Lounge

This lovely online natural beauty shop has been around for a long time (I first reviewed them in 2011!) , and carries a super broad range of organic beauty products and brands, and has super strict standards for brands they’ll carry, including a commitment to 100% recyclable or biodegradable packaging and long list of banned ingredients.  This is the place to stock up on all your favorite (or my favorite, if you’re new to switching over to organic beauty ; ) natural products like RMS Beauty makeup and nail polishes (the RMS Lip to Cheek Balm has made our top product lists over and over again), Rahua Haircare, and luxurious Tata Harper Skincare.  Spirit Beauty Lounge is also the best spot for gifting organic beauty products, with their awesome Gift Sets and gift guides (sorted into great categories like Baby Mama, Little Princess, and For Him).
