The biggest complaint I hear from my readers about switching over to healthier, natural products is the cost. I get it! Sometimes you have other things to spend that money on, and your beauty products just aren’t that high a priority. So I get really excited when I discover effective, organic beauty products that are also affordable and accessible.
I’ve had my eye on Nourish Organic Skincare since I first spotted the line at Whole Foods. I noticed a full spectrum of natural beauty products at a super affordable price, and was really impressed by the list of natural, vegan, organic ingredients and cruelty-free ethos. So when I got the chance to try the products for myself, I jumped on it.
I found the Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser ($13.99) and Body Wash ($9.99) to be light, refreshing, cleansers that were super gentle and non-drying. The face wash is loaded with detoxifying, cooling and balancing cucumber, aloe and watercress, and moisturizing coconut, sesame, sunflower and neem oils, and comes in a fragrance-free formulation that’s great for sensitive skin. The body wash has a similar base, with the addition of vitamin E, coconut milk, jasmine and marshmallow. It’s low sudsing, and left my body squeaky clean without drying it out. I love the natural Almond Vanilla scent, but am excited to try the other delicious scents like Lavender Mint, Fresh Fig, and Lemon Thyme.
After cleansing, I loved using the Rejuvenating Rose Hip and Rosewater Body Oil Mist ($19.99) which deeply hydrates skin with essential fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. It’s super lightweight, and left my skin soft, supple, and with a light lovely sheen after use. The Renewing and Cooling Eye Treatment ($19.99) with avocado and argan oil is a daily standby for me, with it’s gentle, lightweight hydration and uniquely cooling metal applicator that de-puffs tired eyes.
At night, I love smoothing on the Replenishing Argan Oil Balm ($19.99) on any dry spots on my face and body — my chin, elbows, back of my arms with the delicious smelling roll on. Formulated with sweet orange, palmarosa, and cupuacu, this balm is amazing for evening out skin tone, improving skin’s elasticity, and most importantly, reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Love love love it.
I also like the Organic Aluminum-Free Deodorant Cream ($9.99), which smells great, rolls on smooth, and kept me dry on warm summer days, though admittedly, I needed something a little more potent for super hot sweaty days. It comes in several yummy scents, for both men and women, and is completely safe to use on the delicate underarm area, even during pregnancy!
And guess what?! I’m giving away the whole set of products above, a value of $89.99!

Hey I just found your blog right now and I have to say It looks really good! I just have some questions, I have some acne scars and I was wondering if you could link me some of your posts about how to get rid of them. I’m just unfamiliar with blogs in general so it seems a little confusing to me. I’m a guy, 19 years old if that helps. And do you have any products you made? I’m liking what I see on your blog! Thanks! Again, I apologize, I’m just confused and not sure how to find it :p

Hi Roman!
Thanks for reading!
For acne scars, I recommend:
Washing your face with olive oil every night (check out The Oil Face Wash Method)
Using apple cider vinegar on skin 1-2 times daily (check out The Magic of Apple Cider Vinegar
And moisturizing with Argan oil (check out Argan Oil: Your All-Purpose Beauty Workhorse
I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for replying, so I just want to make sure, moisturize with argan oil in the morning? Then apply the apple cider vinegar later on during the day? And then at night moisturize with the argan oil and after the argan oil, wash my face with olive oil at night? I’ve just never had to deal with scars so I’m really lost with all this stuff :p. So that sounds about right?
October 19, 2015
I recommend using the apple cider vinegar as a toner am and/or pm and then following with Argan oil as a moisturizer. If you have particularly oily skin, start with the Argan oil moisturizer at night, and work your way up to using it am and pm.
Use olive oil as a face wash with the method I linked to, but only at night. As I mention in the article, you’ll just wash your face eith warm water in the morning and follow with toner and moisturizer.
Best!

Thank you for your input, I’ve placed the order for those items and they will come in two days. Do you have a general idea on how long until I start seeing results? I have quite a bit of scars because the doctor messed up my face, on the side of my cheeks, but yeah, I’ll be open for any other suggestions you have for me. I’ve noticed quite a trend with medicine, its about fixing symptoms not root causes, and healthy living is the root fix for everything.
October 22, 2015
So true!
I imagine you’ll start seeing results within 3-4 weeks with regular daily use!
October 22, 2015
Again, I appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
