Think You Don’t Have Time to Cook Dinner? | The Organic Beauty Blog

I get it: You’re tired. You had a long day. The last thing you want to do after work is slave away in the kitchen.

So you go out and eat a big, calorie bomb of a meal, or you order takeout Thai food, binge-eat frozen pizza or chips and salsa, or worse yet, sup on some packaged, processed crap you found in the back of your pantry.  Or if you do cook, you’re so starving and stressed that you resort to fatty comfort foods to help yourself feel better.

Yes, my friends, this is definitely getting in your way of being in your ideal body, waking up with tons of energy, and looking and feeling your absolute best.

Amazing Natural Anxiety and Stress Relief

By: Natasha Uspensky

Yes, some stress and anxiety are a natural part of every day life. But how much is too much? How much is “normal”? If your stress and anxiety causes you to:

  • Lose sleep, or experience poor quality sleep
  • Emotionally eat or over eat
  • Turn to drugs, alcohol, or other substances for relief
  • Avoid social gatherings, giving presentations, or other situations that may out you on the spot
  • Experience stress-related health issues like ulcers, IBS, fibromyalgia, adrenal fatigue, weight gain (particularly around your midsection), or chronic inflammation

…then your stress and anxiety are out of hand. This is not something to “just deal with,” ignore, or drown in medication.

The #1 Secret to Effortless Natural Beauty, Perfect Skin and Hair!

The #1 Secret to Effortless Natural Beauty, Perfect Skin and Hair! | The Organic Beauty Blog

What if I told you that you’re slathering toxic, cancer-causing chemicals on your skin every day?

Not to fall prey to sensationalism, but for many of us, it’s true!  Most of the products you are using every day on your skin, hair, and body are loaded with more toxic chemicals than beneficial ingredients.  These chemicals:

  • Dramatically increase your risk of many different types of cancer
  • Cause all kinds of skin issues, exacerbating sensitive skin, rosacea, dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, eczema and other irritations
  • Dry out your hair and scalp, cause split ends, and reduce hair vitality and moisture
  • Disrupt your hormonal balance, leading to a whole slew of issues including, but not limited to, fertility issues, PMS, elevated estrogen (for both genders), and weight gain
  • Increase your risk of passing along birth defects to your unborn babies
  • And more general unpleasantries

Plus, these toxic chemicals are horrible for the environment!

But guess what?  Going the natural route is less expensive, more effective, and actually good for your body!  But you need to use the right stuff…

In my next free webinar in my magical, secret-revealing 3 webinar series, I’m going to share:

My #1 Secret for Effortless, Natural Beauty, Glowing Skin, and Lustrous Hair

Hope to see you there!

Pep Talk: 4 Points in Praise of Peppers

Are you a hot pepper obsessive or avoider? Peppers high in spice factor are something of a superfood, so you might want to consider keeping it hot, hot, hot!

The other day, my friends and I were discussing something called the Scoville Scale (pretty much a ranking of various peppers according to their ‘temperature’). Granted, the big hitters are not recommended for raw consumption, but those who can stand other contenders are often well aware of their health benefits. A boost from this type of natural expectorant can become almost ritualistic, actually. Various post-pepper coping methods went on to include pacing, milk guzzling, and changed breathing patterns (your body actually ups its oxygen flow after eating peppers!) It sounds extreme, but it’s probably not all that misguided! Here’s the real scoop on why your body stands to benefit:

Hugs Are The Cure for Lonely Hearts On Valentine’s

Hugs Are The Cure for Lonely Hearts On Valentine’s | The Organic Beauty Blog

Valentine’s Day can be such an upsetting holiday for single people. Especially, those of us who scour online dating sites, swiping left and then right hoping we may find true love, eventually. Some days (maybe even most days) it can feel fun and exciting; there are so many options! But then sometimes—like the week before, day before, even day of Valentine’s Day—online dating can feel exhausting, demoralizing, isolating and impersonal. Ironically, so, because traditionally, dating is meant to find romantic love where the end goal results in a sense of belonging and attachment. We all want that, right?

I want that too and believe that we are all deserving of such things. Regardless of where you are at in your journey to finding love and companionship, I have a suggestion that will reap the same neurobiological benefits.
